Idaho-Wyoming highway closed indefinitely due to landslide and road collapse on Teton Pass.

A critical highway connecting Idaho and Wyoming has closed indefinitely after a catastrophic landslide led to a section of the road collapsing. The landslide, which occurred on Teton Pass, left no estimated timeline for reopening, according to Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon. The road crack began on Thursday morning and was patched temporarily, but a subsequent mudslide closed the road. On Saturday, the roadway where the crack occurred collapsed, leading to the long-term closure.
