2,100 hay bales were lost in a large fire at the Turon Feedlot in Reno County. The fire occurred on Friday night and is expected to burn for several days. Crews and feedlot staff managed to move unburned hay to safety, but 2,100 bales were on fire when they arrived. The fire was contained to the hay pile and authorities have not yet determined the cause.
