1 dead, 1 injured in Marion crash after driver attempts to evade law enforcement. Driver of a 2017 Nissan Sedan crashed and overturned on Bluff Street near U.S. 76 at 1am. After evading law enforcement, the vehicle struck a ditch, utility pole, and sign. The driver died at the scene, and the passenger was injured, transported to McLeod Regional Medical Center. South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
