A critically stabbed man led to armed police and a helicopter's deployment on Wallace Rd, Papatoetoe, Auckland. Police received a call around 9pm and, due to uncertainty, deployed armed officers. The injured individual is now in stable condition at Middlemore Hospital. Both people involved are known to each other, and there's no public risk. Police are speaking with witnesses and the road has reopened.
