Crews rescued passengers from a box truck that ran off I-20 W in Douglas County after receiving a call at around 7 a.m. near mile marker 42 in Lithia Springs. It took about an hour to rescue the occupants using ladders and ropes, as the truck was in a heavily wooded area off the side of the road. The cause of the crash and the number of passengers involved are still unknown.
