Chinese firm Zonken Food and Agriculture Ltd and Kenyan tea processor Njeru Industries Ltd signed an MoU to enhance value addition and exports of tea to overseas markets. The agreement includes sending Chinese tea experts to Kenya to teach local partners how to improve tea competitiveness in the export market. The deal was signed on the sidelines of the Nairobi International Cultural Festival, where China's rich tea heritage was showcased.
