Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Xpeng has appointed TrueEV as its local importer, distributor, and retailer in Australia, planning to launch the G6 SUV there in October in both standard and long-range variants. TrueEV aims to introduce various electric models within the next 18 months, including the P7 sedan and the G9 large SUV, to cover most market demands. If Xpeng's timeline is met, it could have six models available in Australia within the next two and a half years.
