BJP leader S Jaishankar took the oath as Union Cabinet Minister at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 9. Serving as External Affairs Minister during PM Narendra Modi's second term (2019-2024), Jaishankar is a key figure in shaping India's foreign policy over the past decade. Prior to being EAM, he served as India's Foreign Secretary (2015-2018) and held ambassadorial positions in the United States, China, and the Czech Republic.
