Barn fire in Waterford causes $1m damage, fully engulfed by 3:40 pm on Concession 11 Townsend.

A barn fire in the Waterford area on Friday afternoon caused an estimated $1 million in damages. The barn, which stored farm machinery and hay bales, was fully engulfed when fire crews arrived at around 3:40 p.m. on Concession 11 Townsend. Five Norfolk fire stations responded to the incident, with the barn and its contents insured, according to Jeff Smith, deputy chief of the Norfolk County Fire Department.
