The Australian Federal Police (AFP) warns of a surge in cybercriminals using Remote Access Trojans (RATs) to steal personal data and control users' devices. RATs can infiltrate through email attachments and computer game mods, providing access to webcams, microphones, passwords, and location history. AFP urges Australians to continually update their virus protection and software.
