Akasa Air, India's youngest airline, is set to become profitable and expand its international routes to South Asia and Southeast Asia, according to co-founder Aditya Ghosh. In under two years since launch, the carrier has a fleet of 24 aircraft and over 4,000 employees. Ghosh aims to add over 200 aircraft to the fleet within eight years and reach Tier 2, 3, and 4 cities in India.
