28-year-old Sylvia Ortega was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with a fatal stabbing in San Jose on June 2. Officers found the victim with a stab wound and pronounced him dead at the scene. Ortega was located and arrested at a home in San Jose on June 5. This is the 17th homicide in San Jose this year. The motive behind the stabbing is still under investigation.
