The historic Bangor Sawmill Museum in Meteghan, N.S., was destroyed by fire early Saturday morning. The building was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, but no injuries were reported. Over 85 firefighters and 14 trucks responded to the call. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the community is mourning the loss of the restored 19th-century water-powered lumber sawmill.
