Spirit Airlines CEO denies Chapter 11 bankruptcy consideration after JetBlue deal failure.

Spirit Airlines CEO, Ted Christie, has stated that the company is not considering a Chapter 11 bankruptcy and is "encouraged" by its plan after the failed deal with JetBlue Airways. The airline has faced challenges such as the grounding of several aircraft and bloated industry capacity in key markets. Spirit has also faced questions regarding its ability to manage debt, due to mature in 2025 and 2026.
