Nebraska Volleyball Coach John Cook bought a $70,000 horse named No. 415, trained by Mark Wray, using his retention bonus from his contract extension. Cook, who has led the team to four NCAA championships since 2000, proposed to Athletic Director Troy Dannen that he'd prefer a horse to an escalating salary. The contract extension includes a $825,000 annual salary and eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
