2nd CMAL ferry for Scottish islands, MV Loch Indaal, launched in Turkey; scheduled for delivery in Feb 2025.

The Islay and Jura CMAL ferry, MV Loch Indaal, has been launched in Turkey from the Cemre Marin Endustri shipyard in Yalova. It's the second of four ferries being built for the Scottish islands. Scheduled for delivery in February 2025, the vessel can accommodate 450 passengers and 100 cars or 14 commercial vehicles, increasing capacity on the Islay routes by 40%. MV Loch Indaal follows sister vessel MV Isle of Islay, launched in March.
