In a record-breaking May, Michigan's organ and tissue donation program saw 200 donors provide skin, ligaments, and other tissue, surpassing the previous record from June of last year. Gift of Life Michigan CEO Dorrie Dils emphasizes the life-saving impact of donors and the lesser-known fact that tissue transplants occur daily across the state and country. In 2023, over 1,800 people donated tissue.
