Kyrgyz President Japarov proposes Islamic Development Bank finance Kyrgyzstan's largest hydroelectric project.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has proposed the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) consider financing the construction of the Kambarata-1 Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP), Kyrgyzstan's largest hydroelectric project. The IDB President, Mohammed Al-Jasser, expressed support for the green energy project and cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. Japarov awarded Al-Jasser the Order of Dostuk for his contributions to Kyrgyzstan's socio-economic development.
