9 people were killed and several injured in a severe road accident in Mai Mahiu, Naivasha, Nakuru County, when a trailer lost control and collided with the rear of a matatu. The victims, believed to be heading to a family function, included five females, three males, and a girl, with three males and five females seriously injured. The vehicles involved have been towed to the station for inspection, and the bodies are at Umme Funeral Home awaiting identification and post-mortem.
