China's urban rail transit trips increased 11.7% in May, reaching 2.79 billion passenger trips, according to the Ministry of Transport. This marks a 290 million increase from the previous year. Additionally, the operation length of urban rail transit lines in 54 Chinese cities reached 10,286.2 kilometers, with new operation length of 12.5 kilometers and a new section of urban rail transit line in Hefei, Anhui Province.
