Delhi imposes no-flying zone, bans drones and other aerial platforms ahead of PM Modi's oath ceremony due to potential threats.

Delhi has imposed a no-flying zone and banned the use of sub-conventional aerial platforms, such as drones, hot air balloons, and para-gliders, ahead of PM Narendra Modi's oath ceremony on 9 June. The prohibitory order issued by Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora follows intelligence reports suggesting potential threats from criminal or terrorist elements inimical to India. The no-fly zone will be in effect from 9-10 June to ensure public safety, dignitaries, and vital installations.
