19-year-old trader, Aliyu Ibrahim, was sentenced to one month in prison by a Jos Magistrates' Court for stealing clothes worth N32,000. The court gave Ibrahim the option to pay a N10,000 fine instead. The case was reported by Garba Mohammed on May 4 at the Railway Police station in Jos, with the prosecution stating that Ibrahim trespassed into the railway quarter and stole seven pieces of clothing.
