34-year-old Tolono man hospitalized after being shot in chest during a hotel robbery in Champaign on June 5. The incident occurred at 11:28 p.m. in the 900 block of W. Bloomington Road. The man was visiting an acquaintance when an unidentified person approached and robbed him and another guest. The suspect fired a shot, striking the victim in the chest. No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
