62-year-old childminder Karen Foster pleads guilty to manslaughter of 9-month-old Harlow Collinge under forceful shaking.

62-year-old childminder Karen Foster has admitted to the manslaughter of nine-month-old baby Harlow Collinge in her care, after initially facing a murder charge. Foster, who was due to stand trial at Preston Crown Court, entered a guilty plea to manslaughter, claiming that "forceful shaking" of Harlow, who fell out of a high chair and cried, caused his death. The baby was taken to hospital, but died four days later.
