Waitrose acquires Dishpatch, a celebrity chef meal kit brand, for direct-to-consumer growth.

Waitrose, part of the John Lewis Partnership, has acquired restaurant meal kit brand Dishpatch, adding to its direct-to-consumer operations. Founded in 2020, Dishpatch offers customers meals designed by celebrity chefs such as Angela Hartnett, Rick Stein, and Michel Roux Jr. Waitrose sees "significant opportunities" for Dishpatch following the acquisition and will support its growth in the meal kit market.
