Russia's state nuclear agency, Rosatom, signs a memorandum with Chinese shipping company to establish a year-round container line between the two countries via the Arctic's Northern Sea Route, as Russia shifts trade eastwards amid Western sanctions. The companies aim to conduct 12 voyages in 2024 and ultimately ship up to 50 million tonnes of cargo each year, with plans to build up to five Arctic-class vessels for year-round operation.
