14 Ribble Endurance SLR bikes stolen from Lifeplus-Wahoo women's cycling team mechanic's van during Tour of Britain Women's event; team competed with spare bikes and donated assistance.
14 Ribble Endurance SLR bikes belonging to the Lifeplus-Wahoo women's cycling team were stolen from their mechanic's van at MacDonald Hill Valley Hotel in Shropshire during the Tour of Britain Women's event. Despite the setback, the team was able to compete in the Wrexham leg of the race on June 7 due to spare bikes and mechanics' assistance donated by other teams. West Mercia Police have launched an investigation into the theft.
