MLS cleared NYCFC head coach Nick Cushing of assault allegations by Toronto FC's John Herdman. Herdman accused Cushing of punching a Toronto player during a March 16 game at Yankee Stadium, but the league's Disciplinary Committee cleared Cushing, issuing no additional suspensions or fines. Both teams' head coaches and executives met with MLS commissioner Don Garber to discuss league expectations for behavior and conduct.
