Missing canoeist search operation ongoing in Cardigan, West Wales, involving emergency services.
A large search operation is underway in Cardigan, west Wales, after a canoeist was reported missing. Emergency services, including Coastguard helicopters, lifeboats, police and rescue teams, are involved in the search. The search began on the River Teifi at Cardigan, Ceredigion, after the canoeist was reported missing around 7:40pm. A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police advises members of the public to stay away.
