25 kilos of suspected cocaine, worth $450,000, washes ashore on Dauphin Island, according to the Mobile County Sheriff's Office. The packages were found along the west end of the island on June 6, and narcotics detectives conducted a search but found no additional packages. The sheriff's office will continue to monitor the area and asks for public assistance if any suspicious items are found.
