Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi was acquitted of forgery charges by a Nairobi court, as the prosecution failed to produce the alleged forged academic certificates. The magistrate also faulted the investigating officer for the manner in which part of the evidence was obtained, raising issues of credibility. The court dismissed the case as the evidence did not support the allegations against Sudi.
