Irish High Court reduces veterinarian's suspension from 2 to 1 month for uninformed surgery on wrong leg of dog Alfie.

The vet, William McCartney, performed surgery on Alfie's left leg instead of the planned right leg, citing it as being in the dog's best interests. However, the dog's owner was not informed of the change before the surgery took place.
