A fatal hit-and-run incident occurred in Florence on Thursday night, killing a pedestrian on East Howe Springs Road between 9-10 PM. The driver of the dark-colored 2016-2018 Chevy Malibu with front-end damage fled the scene. The Florence Police Department's Fatal Accident Investigation Team is investigating and seeking information or home surveillance video in the area.
