European Commission allocates €7M to Armenia for education development, focusing on STEM labs and teacher training.
The European Commission (EC) has allocated €7 million to Armenia for education development, aiming to increase the nation's educational competitiveness and implement educational reforms outlined in the government's 2021-2026 program. This includes establishing updated and equipped STEM laboratories in 330 schools across Ararat, Kotayk, and Gegharkunik marzes, as well as training teachers in modern methodology. The EC provided €5 million in December 2023 and €1.5 million in May 2024.
