Chinese tech giant Bytedance, owner of TikTok, plans a $2.13bn investment in Malaysia to establish the country as a regional AI hub, as per Malaysia's Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Zafrul Aziz. This investment will support AI tech growth and related industries, strengthening Malaysia's global tech industry position.
