2024 Archibald Prize winner Laura Jones has won $100,000 for her portrait of author Tim Winton. Jones, who is the 12th female artist to win the prestigious honour, was chosen unanimously by the judges from over 1,000 entries and 57 finalists. Jones' portrait of Winton was inspired by their shared love of the environment and the Great Barrier Reef. This is Jones' fourth Archibald finalist appearance.
