Andhra Pradesh appoints Neerabh Kumar Prasad as new Chief Secretary. The 1987 batch IAS officer has replaced Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, who went on leave. Prasad was serving as Special Chief Secretary for Environment, Forest, and Science & Technology Department. The decision comes after the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) led by N Chandrababu Naidu registered a landslide victory in the state.
