32-year-old Daniel Patrick Junior McKnight is facing multiple charges after allegedly attempting to carjack a police officer in Whitby, Ontario. The suspect approached the officer in her marked cruiser, attempted to remove her from the vehicle and tried to obtain her firearm. Unsuccessful, he fled the scene but was later located and apprehended by police without incident.
