22-year-old Groton resident Andrew Haydon died in a motorcycle crash on Christy Hill Road, Ledyard on Wednesday at 8 p.m. His motorcycle, a 2023 Yamaha, collided with a guardrail, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Southeastern Connecticut Regional Traffic Unit is investigating the accident. Witnesses are asked to contact Officer Heidi Schmidt at 860-464-6400.
