18th Lok Sabha in India's average MP age dropped to 56 years from 59 in the previous assembly, according to PRS Legislative Research. BJP leads with 240 seats, followed by Congress (99) and Samajwadi Party (37). 11% of MPs are 40 or younger, 38% aged 41-55, while 52% are over 55. The youngest MPs, Pushpendra Saroj and Priya Saroj, are 25; the oldest, T R Baalu, is 82 years old.
