Saskatchewan launches new oil & gas courses for high school students with online theory and work placements, funded by Teine Energy.
Saskatchewan is launching new oil and gas courses for high school students from 2024-2026, with Oil and Gas 20 and Oil and Gas 30 providing 50 hours online theory and 50 hours work placement. Developed by the Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre and Teine Energy, the courses aim to offer students exposure to the industry and support the province's growing economy. Teine Energy contributes $150,000 over two years for course development and student placements.
