The referees associations claim they have been "let down terribly" after what they perceive as "inadequate and weak" penalties following an abandoned reserve grade game between Wellington and Forbes. The NSW Rugby League has confirmed that Peter McDonald Premiership games will go ahead, but has accused the striking referees of "holding the game to ransom."
