Qorvo and Cambridge GaN Devices (CGD) have partnered to develop a reference design and evaluation kit (EVK) featuring GaN technology for motor control applications, aiming to accelerate the adoption of GaN power ICs in BLDC and PMSM applications. The EVK RD5556GaN, powered by CGD's ICeGaN technology, will be available in Q3 2024 and showcased at the PCIM exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany, from June 11-13.
