President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has ordered 24/7 deployment of customs and agriculture department teams to ports in the Philippines, aiming to ensure uninterrupted processing of shipments, including the screening of imported goods such as food and agricultural products. Marcos emphasized the importance of round-the-clock shipment process to accommodate the arrival of more ships into the country. Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) had proposed a shifting schedule to ensure 24/7 operations across government services related to logistics and supply chains.
