The Nigerian Senate confirmed Emomotimi Agama as the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and appointed three additional commissioners: Frana Chukwuogor, Abimbola Ajomale, and Samiya Usman. Agama and the other appointees were deemed qualified after a screening process and security checks. The appointments aim to develop Nigeria's capital market, boost wealth creation, attract investments and create jobs.
