Keir Johnston, the man behind the viral "dress that broke the internet" phenomenon, has been sentenced to four-and-a-half years in jail for assaulting his wife, Grace. In March 2022, Johnston pinned his partner to the ground, choked her, and brandished a knife, threatening "somebody is going to die." The couple gained global attention in 2015 when a photograph of a dress worn by Grace's mother at their wedding sparked an international debate over its color.
