Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged state governors to prioritize food security and prioritize policies that enhance people's well-being. During his visit to Sokoto State, he praised Governor Ahmed Aliyu for his work on transportation, road construction, agriculture, and housing projects. The Sokoto State Government unveiled 136 housing units, purchased for low-income earners, as part of addressing the need for shelter and fulfilling campaign promises for improved welfare.
