Kaunda emphasised clearing debris and fallen trees as the priority, allowing municipal teams access to the area. The mayor also announced plans to accelerate building permanent homes for tornado-affected residents, with a housing project planned for eMagwaveni. Government departments and NGOs are now able to provide temporary relief to displaced families.
