Colombian artists create underwater sculptures to support endangered corals at Isla Fuerte.
Colombian underwater sculpture gallery creates artificial reefs to support endangered corals. Potters Hugo Osorio and Pedro Fuentes have created 25 figures, each standing 1.5 meters tall, around Isla Fuerte's seafloor to attract fish and divers, while also providing homes for corals threatened by tourism and climate change. The initiative, MUSZIF, was started by resident and fashion designer, Tatiana Orrego. Another 25 sculptures are planned.
