Chinese property developer Country Garden's Hong Kong liquidation hearing adjourned for debt restructuring talks; shares suspended since April.
Chinese property developer Country Garden's Hong Kong liquidation hearing is adjourned to 29 July, as the company continues working on debt restructuring talks with offshore creditors. Country Garden defaulted on $11bn offshore bonds in 2021, and plans to present a debt restructuring proposal in the second half of this year. The company's shares have been suspended from trading since April 2.
